What is gout attack?
Gout is the most common type of inflammatory arthritis that is caused by high levels of uric acid in the body. Gout attack is a flare up of gout symptoms. Common symptoms of gout attack include pain, redness, swelling, and warmth in and around the affected joint. The symptoms start suddenly and often start at night. The pain is usually severe in the first 12 hours after it begins. The symptoms can last anywhere from a few days to weeks.
