Gastrointestinal conditions, often referred to as GI issues or gastrointestinal problems, encompass a wide range of disorders and conditions that affect the digestive system. GI issues can involve any part of the digestive system, from the mouth and esophagus to the stomach, small and large intestines, and other associated organs like the liver and pancreas. Common gastrointestinal conditions include irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), heartburn, and gastroenteritis (irritation or inflammation in the digestive tract).
